Terms of use
Last updated: November 8, 2026
These terms govern the use of Kanstela, a service of IGIS EDUCATION, LLC (Delaware, USA). By using the service, the customer organization and its members accept them.
1. The service
Kanstela provides each customer organization with a private intranet copy at its own address, with a core set of modules and optional features. Content published in the intranet belongs to the organization and its authors.
2. Accounts and access
The organization’s administrators decide who can sign in and with which permissions. Each user protects access to their mailbox and to the Google or Microsoft accounts used to sign in, and reports any suspicious access to their administrator.
3. Subscription, trial and payment
- A 7-day free trial, limited to the core, may be offered.
- Subscriptions are monthly or yearly, paid in advance, based on the chosen plan (number of users). Every account created counts as a user.
- Adding an option or moving to a higher plan is charged pro rata, immediately. Removing an option takes effect at renewal, without refund.
- A paid yearly subscription is not refunded if stopped early.
- Payment by mobile money, card, PayPal or bank transfer.
4. Late payment and end of subscription
If payment is missed, access stays open for a 7-day grace period, then is suspended. Data is kept for 90 days after the subscription ends, then deleted, unless an export is requested before then.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Kanstela to publish illegal, hateful or infringing content, to try to access another organization, to disrupt the service or to send unsolicited messages. Kanstela may suspend access in case of serious breach.
6. Availability
We make our best efforts to keep the service available and backed up every night. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or because of our providers; we announce planned work when possible.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kanstela’s liability is limited to the amounts paid by the organization in the previous 12 months. Kanstela is not responsible for content published by users.
8. Personal data
Data processing is described in our privacy policy.
9. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; administrators are notified of significant changes. They are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (USA). Questions: contact@kanstela.com.
